Paint the Town Red THANK YOU SQUARE.png

What if we could give our Red Devils – students, staff, and teachers – the on-site social and emotional support we know they need this year?

This year’s Fund-a-Need goes beyond funding a tangible piece of equipment for our kids. After two years of significant upheaval in our teens' lives, we are looking for parents and other community members to invest in something deeper to strengthen our school community.

Please join us in supporting a school-based Mental Health and Wellness partnership with CHRIS 180

We are raising funds to support an on-site therapist at least one day a week. A partnership with CHRIS 180 will give our school community access to all that this nonprofit organization has to offer, including:

  • On-site therapy as caseload allows

  • Referrals to individual, family, and group therapy

  • Crisis intervention

  • Trauma-informed training for teachers and administration

  • Teacher support groups

  • Classroom observations/recommendations

And much more!

Every $12,000 we raise could fund a therapist onsite once a week for the entire year. That breaks out to only $67 per instructional day!

With $60,000 we could fund a therapist at school five days a week!

Please consider a generous gift this year to support our partnership! You can raise your paddle at the event or give online anytime!

We are so grateful to our community business and family sponsors!
Their generosity allows us to cover event costs and direct all auction proceeds to academics, arts, and sports at DHHS and DHMS.

How are Auction funds used?

Druid Hills High School and Druid Hills Middle School are both Title I public schools and regularly experience funding gaps between what the Dekalb County School District can provide and what the real needs of our programs are.

All Auction proceeds are split between your Druid Hills PTO and your Druid Hills Athletic Association, supporting enhanced learning and participation opportunities in academics, arts, and athletics for the more than 2800 students at both DHHS and DHMS.
